whittney alexandria clarke lived by the phrase "i don't care" much throughout her lifetime. she was raised mainly by her grandparents, since her father wasn't in the picture, and her mother was one more shot to the grave ; she would rather avoid a broken home, than be a victim of her mother's drunken stupors. after college, she avoided contact with her estranged mother, and continued to live her life as accustomed to her. whittney has always been in charge of her life, and wouldn't let anyone step in and attempt to run it for her. during college, she joined a sorority, made some friends that would ultimately last a lifetime, and met the source of her problems ; cole burnell. their tumultuous relationship, there were make ups, break ups, he put a ring on it and she bounced. after his first proposal during her junior year, whittney was freaked out beyond all reasoning. she clearly was not ready for marriage, or to handle cole. he was his own person, and she redeemed herself too long ago to look back on it. soon enough, she ended the engagement and moved to new york to continue schooling. though leaving bridget, kaci and her friends was rough on her heart, she did what was right for herself. whittney's number one was always herself, and she wasn't going to change her set in ways. after receiving a degree in public relations, she was working in a public relations firm called j&p enterprises in new york, and her life was on the right track. enter cole one more time, dun dun dun. after reconciling, they found themselves back together and continuing as if things hadn't gone sour. in 2006, whittney gave birth to their first child, a daughter named taylor elizabeth burnell, and while she thought children would fix things in their already messed up relationship, it just made it worse. soon enough, she just told him to get out. currently, she is a single, hardworking mother, who is raising taylor alone until cole gets his act together.
